49. 21st MARCH 2011. The front overhead cab window

has been removed. Time to pull this all apart.

Bad rot found.

50. It's the same in the opposite corner. Even

the bed base has rotted away. All this damage

was caused by a poorly designed front window.

51. From the outside. Below the window opening is the internal roof board. This too is rotten.

52. Lots of work to be done here. Now we are going

to pull the roof right off...

53. To reveal two bad spots. Both were known about.

54. The bathroom mushroom vent (left) and the

skylight over the lounge (centre). Nasty but

not overly bad compared to some of the others

I've seen.

55. Close-up of the mushroom vent opening.

56. All these black area are wet to the touch.

57. 22nd MARCH 2011. The final side. This is the

lower edge at the rear.

58. Nearside middle section

59. And front Section. All the ali panels are stapled

to the framework and these have to be carefully

removed. Some are very rusty and take time to remove.

60. Some rot here too.
