    109. We have a hole - a big hole.

    110. Locating the original holes for the lower rail

of the bike rack and roof access ladder. Fixing

this on will help keep the panel in shape.

    111. The "Hump" has been formed.

    112. Removing old sealant from the lower edge ready to bend the panel end.

    113. 5mm overlap on the roof edge - well sealed.

    114. More forming of the roof edge.

    115. Getting the front edge right.

    116. Alloy trim put into place to hold the front

    end edge.

    117. Roof finished - almost!

    No Photo's

A boring day cleaning the roof trim

rubbers which were covered in sticky

    sealant.

4 Litres of white spirit later and they

    are slowly getting cleaner.

    118. 12th APRIL 2011

    119. 13th & 14th APRIL 2011 Progress seems to

be very slow, but work is being done and there is

no let up. The offside trim rail (left on the photo)

is back on and any number of other smaller

tasks have been completed (Vanishing internal

    teak wood trim etc)

    120. 15th APRIL 2011. The joining section between

the roof and fibreglass overhead cab was removed

and then sealed properly. The Black insert trim is

back in. Lots & lots of cleaning sealant off has

been done (boring - yawn). Cleaning seems to be

99% of the restoration at this moment in time.
